This program will provide students with a thorough foundation in contemporary business theories emphasising the creation and critical evaluation of innovative ideas and strategies within ambiguous business environments. Throughout the course, students will complete a broad range of high-level, general and specialised business units. It is aimed primarily at middle and senior managers looking to improve their standing in industry, combining current business theory and local and international perspectives with hands-on project work and is interwoven with a core set of values reflecting commitment to ethical and sustainable corporate governance practices. This course offers specialisations in Strategic Procurement, Leadership and Oil and Gas, as well as the generic Business stream. Entry requirements Entry into the Curtin MBA program occurs three times per year (with starts in January, May and September) and offers are made on the basis of competitive entry. There are a limited number of places available and these are allocated to the highest ranked applicants for each round of offers. Before being considered for a place on the MBA program, all applicants must meet the requirements of having a university degree, at least three years of professional (post-degree) work experience and appropriate English language competency (IELTS average of 7.0 for non-native English language speakers).  Rankings are determined on the basis of undergraduate grades/qualifications, relevant work experience and achievements, written references, a candidate supplied essay and an interview.  Applicants who feel that they may be weak in an area may supplement their application with strong GMAT results.
