La Trobe University (LTU) was established in 1964 and has grown to a student population of 36,600 students (or 28,500 full-time equivalents) across seven campuses in the states of Victoria and New South Wales. The MBA is offered at the following locations; Albury-Wodonga, Bendigo, Melbourne City Campus, Chisholm Dandenong, Mildura, Shepparton, Vietnam as well as On-Line.
In 2017 we celebrated our 50th birthday. We have been ranked in the world’s top 400 universities, by all three major independent ranking agencies, and moved to #56 in the Young Universities Rankings. That makes us one of the world’s best young universities. The 2017 QS World University Rankings has La Trobe University ranked 360 in the world, an improvement of 26 positions from the 2016 ranking of 386. The rankings placed La Trobe in the top 1.4 per cent of universities globally.
Our Business School is committed to excellence in business education and research in order to make a difference to our students and other stakeholders. We do this through innovation, strong engagement with all our business and other stakeholders and an emphasis on responsible management practice.
Our Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is accredited by EPAS and has strong national and international rankings. Our teaching and research emphasises the need for sustainable economic value for organisations with a social and environmental responsibility that emphasises the importance of both individual and societal wellbeing.
Our Business School has a vibrant industry engagement program that helps us deliver work ready graduates. This includes an active guest lecture program, an extensive work placement program as well as a School Advisory Board consisting of influential leaders from a range of business and not-for-profit organisations.
